I’m Mr Koh Keow Chai, and I sought answers to my questions on early child development 21 years ago when my daughter was born. I successfully taught my three children, and my daughters could read any word by 14 months. By the age of two they were reading newspapers, magazines (Reader’s Digest and the National Geographic), and by 3 they could write. My second daughter entered the Gifted Education Programme (GEP) as well. My children are now studying in the National University of Singapore and Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
I have conducted courses with many parents individually and in small groups, and held seminars with parents from Singapore, Malaysia, Taiwan and China.
